This 2-hour course is designed to provide first responding law enforcement officers with an overview of Act 33-2009, Arkansas’ new Animal Cruelty Law.

Additionally, law enforcement officials will be familiarized with the misdemeanor and felony provisions of the law, exemptions, and requirements for animal seizures, and resources available to assist law enforcement.     The course will begin at 1:00 p.m. and concludes at 3:00 p.m.
