DATE EXTENDED TO JANUARY 25th

This program, funded by Sig Sauer Inc. Firearms, is designed to allow a police chief from a smaller agency to attend the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference for the first time.

The scholarship will allow the recipient to attend up to four days, which will be enough time to attend training sessions, exhibits, the Opening Session and Host Chief’s Night, as well as network with fellow professionals. The scholarship will provide transportation, up to four (4) nights hotel stay, and conference registration. Transportation will be at the coach rate (if flying) or at the federal allowance for mileage - up to the cost of the most economical flight available. Any and all
additional costs are at the expense of the recipient.  

Two applicants from each of the four SACOP Regions will be selected, for a total of eight award winners.
