The Office of Intergovernmental Services of the Department of Finance and Administration announces that the application packets for the 2010-2011 Enforcing the Underage Drinking Laws mini-grants will be ready May 3, 2010, on the website of the Department of Finance and Administration @ www.dfa.arkansas.gov/offices/intergovernmentalservices/grants/pages/eudl.aspx 

Law Enforcement Agencies around the state are eligible to apply for the mini-grants in the amount of $35,000.00.  The application deadline is May 31, 2010.  The mini-grant period will be listed in the grant application guide.  The mini-grants are available to:  sponsor educational programs for youth and their parents through youth task forces; conduct advertisement campaign about underage drinking prevention; and to support innovative and collaborative programs to prevent underage drinking.

Local Law Enforcement Agencies (city police) are encouraged to apply for one of these mini-grants.
