AACP Member Portal

Please Note: If you are an AACP Member you must first Register and Login to this website to use the special features discussed below.

The AACP Member Portal is a private area for Association Members to interact, collaborate, and share information.

It is our hope that through this area you will benefit through the experience and resources of others in the Association.  The following interactive areas are provided for your professional use.

Events

Located on the Main Menu under "Events", Members can click the "Notify Me" checkbox to receive notifications by email any time the Calendar is updated with a new event.  Members can also submit events that might be of interest to other Association Members.

Employment Opportunities

Located on the Main Menu under "Employment", this area provides a way for Member Departments and Agencies to list Job Openings.  Members may post, manage and delete their own Job Openings for their Department or Agency through the use of an easy to use online listing program.  Please see the Getting Started link on the Employment Opportunities Page for more information.

Member Library

Private Informational Documents and Training Materials are provided in this area to assist Member Departments in keeping their staff up to date with the constantly changing landscape of Law Enforcement.

Association Member Forums

The barebones definition of a forum is the ability for people to start message threads and reply to other people's threads.  This Forum provides it's members considerably more than this.  Depending on the permissions of Association Members as defined by the Forums Administrator, Members can post replies to existing threads, start new threads as they wish, create Polls, and communicate with each other using Private Messages.  Forum Administrators have the ability to edit, delete, move or otherwise modify any thread on the forum.

Department Exchange

Provided as a Clearing House for Departments and Agencies the Department Exchange allows Members to post items they wish to sell through the Association Community.  This Departmental "Classified Ads" section provides a way for Members to safely and securely offer Items relating to the Law Enforcement community.  Please see the Getting Started link on the Department Exchange Page for more information.

Member Blogs

Weblogs, or "Blogs" have become an increasingly popular way to share ideas and information.  In this area, Association Members are invited to share their thoughts, experiences and opinions on topics of interest to the Association.  Tools are provided to add, edit, delete and manage their personal Blog Postings.  There are also Search and Organizational Tools for finding Topic Categories and Authors.  Members may also comment on Blog Postings as a way to further collaborate on subjects of general interest.
